Just Trying to Stay Alive

I'm glad you guys have good things to say about the Homestead! Apparently it's a pretty popular place around here so i'm excited to experience for myself.

Ashley, your comment perfectly describes my situation. Just hanging on, doing my best to get everything done. I enjoy doing this blog, but sometimes I can't help but find it to be an inconvenience. It's nice to be able to get stuff out there, but it's hard to keep up with when I have all these other assignments piling on top of it!

On a lighter note, this weekend was fun. It was filled with food. Sheetz, Chanellos and Panera in 2 days, that should be like a record or something. But I enjoyed every second of every bite. I let myself have fun without worrying about work, until now at least. I'm always afraid to check BlackBoard on Sundays, there always seems to be some new assignment or announcement about something. That's probably why I haven't looked at anything until now. I blame our apartment's lack of internet. My roommate, who went home for the weekend, has the router in her room and locked her door. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to unplug it to reset it. But needless to say we couldn't do that this weekend. It's pretty annoying and it's happened before but I guess to look on the positive side of things, it kept me off Facebook for a while. At least until my other roommate found a cable to plug into the wall. I feel like we're addicts or something, itching for a little bit of facebook stalking, or texts from last night. I'm currently sitting on the floor of our living room writing this post because the cord won't reach into my room. Maybe I should look at the criteria for internet addiciton again.....

I lost my debit card like 2 weeks ago and called in for a new one to be sent here. I still haven't gotten it so I called back and turns out they never had the right address. I always get nervous sending anything to school, especially when Chase Court isn't a real street and Apt E sounds like D. So many things can go wrong! But they let me order a new one, this time to home, so crisis averted.

Now to look at the guidelines for our technology critique...the first offcial attempt at writing this thing...
